Hobby Master HA6620 Eurofighter Typhoon, a twin-engine multi-role fighter, was built by a European consortium of the UK, Germany, Spain, and Italy. The development began in 1983, with the prototype's maiden flight in 1994. The first fully equipped Tranche 2 Instrumented Production Aircraft took to the skies in 2008. In 2014, two aircraft, including the Eurofighter Typhoon II ZK308, were revealed at RAF Coningsby, wearing iconic black and white stripes for the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. The Typhoon II FGR.4 ZK308, from 29 (R) Squadron, was coded TP-V MN-526 as a tribute to the Hawker Typhoons of WWII. These special painted aircraft participated in the Duxford Air Show on May 24, 2014.
