The Malone MicroSport XT takes the proven MicroSport base and adds three meaningful upgrades: aluminium spoke wheels, diamond plate aluminium fenders, and the MPG494 retractable tongue kit. The retractable tongue is the standout feature for anyone with limited garage space, collapsing the overall trailer footprint significantly and allowing vertical storage with the included rear bumpers. It's a practical solution for paddlers who use their trailer regularly but can't afford to dedicate a full trailer-length of floor space to storage year-round.

The 11-gauge marine-grade galvanised steel frame handles an 800 lb load capacity and boats up to 20' in length, with 78" load bars, adjustable crossbar spread, and D-ring tie-downs that accommodate the full range of Malone kayak carriers and accessories. DOT-approved plug-and-play LED lighting and a pre-tested electrical system have the trailer highway-ready straight out of the box. Available by special order only.
